What a great year 2007 was for the Northeastern Ohio Treasury Management Association. The year brought an abundance of networking opportunities and educational value for our members. The mission of the association is to provide a forum to exchange ideas, educate its members, and build on current treasury management practices.
We strive to bring the latest treasury management practices through our educational luncheon meetings and annual Idea Exchange conference. I had the pleasure to co-chair the 26th annual Idea Exchange conference this year that focused on Fraud & Risk Management. The event was a success for the association because of the talented committee members, generous support of our sponsors, and innovative speakers.
Megan Short and I had the privilege to represent our association at the Annual AFP conference held in Boston, MA this year. We had the opportunity to highlight our association at the AFP Regional booth where we met other regional officers, practitioners, and vendors.
The golf event and holiday party were two excellent networking events offered to our members. I had the pleasure to meet new folks that attended the events. The holiday party was a special event because the association awarded two educational scholarships to two of our members ~ Natalie Nicholas and Christine Romano ~ Congratulations!
